After penning hits like “Old Town Road” and “Body” by Summer Walker, plus her debut EP hitting No. 1 on the iTunes R&B chart, 3x Grammy Award winner and RIAA Diamond-certified singer/songwriter Jozzy returns with another banger, “Maybe”.

The single, which is the first release from her debut album, “Soundtrack 2 Get Her Back“ is an honest and mature look at what genuine communication looks like in a relationship. Produced by Bongo By The Way and Freaky Rob, the smooth new single is built on a mid-tempo groove that gives Jozzy space to deliver a grown and grounded ultimatum.

Maybe” is another slow-burning single highlighting Jozzy’s gift of blending lyrical sharpness with melodic ease. On “Maybe” she captures the complicated gray area between words and actions. You know, the type of love that leaves you confused because what they’re saying and doing are complete opposites.

On “Maybe” Jozzy isn’t having it, as she’s found at her most direct on the hook, “Don’t treat me like a maybe”. Because real love won’t leave you hanging with question marks. She’s not asking for forever — just for honesty.

Jozzy is leading the new wave of R&B while reshaping it from the inside out, as a proudly queer Black woman. Her writing and singing are intentional and grounded in real stories, emotional fluency, and cultural truth. Jozzy gives a voice to untold stories that have lived in the margins of mass media - nuanced, romantic, and unfiltered.

Mentored by music legends Timbaland and Missy Elliot whose sounds reshaped the culture in phenomenal and forward-thinking way, Jozzy is boldy giving voice to a world that now demands authenticity, not performative representation. Her music expands what R&B could be, in addition to providing the vibes.

Jozzy’s debut EP, “Songs for Women, Free Game for N**’s**” debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes R&B chart and received widespread praise from fans and industry tastemakers alike. As a songwriter, she has written Platinum and Diamond hits for artists like Beyoncé, Madonna, Lil Nas X, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, and Pharrell Williams. With three Grammys under her belt and a highly anticipated debut album, Jozzy continues to cement her status as one of the most authentic and innovative creatives in music today.
