What was it like growing up in D.C. ?

Challenging, the opportunities from my perspective felt limitless but the resources were made available to those who want it. Growing up in D.C. made me concise of taking multiple routes in order to succeed.

Describe the time you first fell in love with music?

When I first played the piano at 9 and heard the sounds that were crated from it. I had the power to control my emotions that wasn't easy to put into words.

What was the most challenging part of teaching yourself how to play the piano and guitar?

The most challenging part for me was never feeling like what I did was enough. I would find myself not eating, sleeping and staying to myself in a tiny room all because there was always room for improvement. In retrospect it helped shaped me to be the artist I am today, so I can't complain to much!

Backtrack to 2008. What 3 albums stayed in your current rotation?

Michael Jackson: Dangerous, Papa Roach: The Paramour Sessions, Lady Gaga: The Fame

Who do you want to collab with the most in the future?

If I'm being completely honest Prince. R.I.P. He is such a legendary artist that future generations of artist will look to and be inspired. In this case I'm looking forward to collab with Beyoncé. She has a soulful, powerhouse sound that's remarkable and she's a Virgo like me so I know the project going to be intense.

What kind of sounds can we expect on your upcoming album, 'The Reaction’ ?

Expect to be challenged and taken out of the status quo when it comes to this album 'The Reaction'. The sound is a crossover of 80's Rock and 90's-2000's Pop. The two most impactful genres that captured the world's attention at that time and inspired my sound to be.

How do you describe success?

Success is living your life the way you want to live it,Regardless of how big or small it is.That's success to me!
