Rico Nasty Channels Rage Into Calm on Blue Water Road Trip Tour

This past Monday, September 12th at the freshly built YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, LA came out to support real music and artistry on the LA stop of Kehlani’s Blue Water Road Trip tour.  Beginning promptly and ahead of schedule (which we like), the show started off with a strong performance by R&B vocalist/creative Destin Conrad, who performed a couple of tracks - new and old - before ending on a high note, letting the crowd know how he’s “chasing dollar bill$”.

Up next was Rico Nasty. But first, her DJ pre-amped the crowd by playing a current banger - GloRilla’s “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)”, which had everyone going crazy. But not as crazy as when Rico Nasty came out to the appearance of red lights, smoke, and signature heavy bass coming through the speakers. She then asked “where her crazy b*tches at”, before proceeding to give an amazing show.

Throughout her set, Rico kept the crowd entertained and engaged with and effortless flow and popular songs like “STFU”, “Smack A B*tch”, and her feature on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Scary”. As it got closer to end of her allotted time, she let those that have been sleeping know that Rico Nasty is for the “black sheep” and “b*tches with anger issues”.

Overall, it did feel nice to rage with Rico for half an hour and release the tension that life tends to pile on us. We were left with good vibes and a clear mind, thanks to her unique music, authenticity, and all around good energy. If you’ve been sleeping, now is the time to wake up, respect her grind and know it’s only a matter of time before Rico Nasty becomes a household name because it’s in her, not on her.
