Lady Loe Blends Classic Hip Hop Aesthetic With A Modern Edge
When you think of emerging artists, you might think of those that are bubbling but not quite out the package yet. You know, those with potential that the world hasn’t caught on to yet. Emerging artists like Queens, New York native, Lady Loe is that exciting emerging artist. She’s bringing fresh new excitement and perspective to the game with foundational Hip Hop style mixed with a modern edge. Something the game needs, in a sea of clones and cookie-cutter artists.
Now that Lady Loe is fresh off of touring with heavy hitters like Gunplay, Young Nuk and Lil Jay On The Track, she’s ready to dominate the culture with a new single, “Like This”, as well as an upcoming album. Her sixth album promises features from legends like Sticky Fingaz of Onyx and Big Twins (Mobb Deep). But that’s not to say that Lady Loe hasn’t had hits before, as her last single “Fingerprint” charted high on Amazon’s Top 100 New Hip Hop Releases. #13 to be exact.
When asked how she got her style, Lady Loe reminisced, “My parents liked the oldies but goodies, so I began to rap over old school R&B music. That era in my life made me distinguish the true meaning of HipHop.” Now signed to Wild Dogs Entertainment with distribution through Roc Nation and running her own label: Love of Earth Entertainment, Lady Loe is out here building an empire, one dope release at a time.
