Catch Kodie Shane & Rick Ross On "Facetime"
Atlanta artist Kodie Shane has been heralded as one of the more vital voices of the new generation. With infectious songs, and her ability to switch up styles on the fly, she has been gaining a lot of love worldwide, and has been an in-demand artist.
She was signed to Epic Records since 2015, and she was even a part of Lil Yachty's "Sailing Team" collective until their disbandment. She recently took her talents to Venice, a Troy Carter owned distribution company, and looks to make a lot more noise. In 2020 she released her "BLOOMING Vol. 1" EP, and looks to follow it up in the coming months. With a collection of hits including "Sad", "LEVELS", and "Umbrellas", she seeks to make another with "Facetime".
Featuring Rick Ross, Kodie Shane talks about the complexities of young love, with Kodie serving as a young heartthrob in search of reciprocation in her tenacious relationship. Ross steps in to deliver his classic bars, and makes for a song that many will be bumping for a very long time. The music video for "Facetime" was directed by Brittany Bowman Harris, and it finds Kodie being fun and as fly as ever while she gives us that infectious sound with Rozay. Kodie Shane is here to stay, so get used to her.
