Kanye & Drake Made History At #FreeLarryHoover Benefit Concert

It's always a good thing when beef is squashed. Kanye West and Drake were at odds for years, throwing jabs in songs, and making public statements. With the help of OG J Prince, the beef was over earlier this year, and fans could look forward for collaborations and connections. One of the collaborations was the #FreeLarryHoover concert, and last night it was one for the books!

Despite having a very late start, the event kicked off with members of Kanye's Sunday Service choir flipping some of our favorite songs including Adele's "Easy On Me" and The Fugees' "Ready Or Not". Following the choir's performance was Yeezy taking the stage. With his "Free Hoover" gear on, he took us back to the old days by performing a slew of classics including "Touch The Sky", "Jesus Walks", "Good Life", "Say You Will", "Runaway" with Ye reaching out to his estranged wife Kim, and a cover of Drake's "Find Your Love" which he produced. Drake took over shortly after with his version of Kanye's "24" off the DONDA album, and tapping into some of his CLB tracks, "God's Plan", and other singles to great reactions from the audience.

With the concert being a success, we look forward to the possibilities of more collaborations from Ye and Drake in 2022. Stay tuned. Check out the concert below, and share with a friend. Follow @HypeOffLife on Twitter and Instagram for more content.
