Big Boi & Sleepy Brown Invite You To "The Big Sleepover"
When you say Big Boi, you think of Outkast. When say Sleepy Brown, you think of Dungeon Family and the legendary production group Organized Noize where he's 1/3 of. Mention both names, you'll also say Dungeon Family as they share over 30 years of collaborations and friendship. When you mix the soulful sounds of Sleepy Brown and the Big Boi's southern playa style together, we get the long awaited collaborative project called, "The Big Sleepover".
Loaded with 14 tracks, "The Big Sleepover" is an album that is over 4 years in the making. Teased since 2019, Big Boi and Sleepy Brown have been giving fans a few singles, but now bring together a full project that is a testament of their legendary statuses, their outstanding tenure as creators, and their abilities to still create bangers. The album was recorded at the legendary Stankonia Studios in Atlanta, and offers a wide variety of sounds that Sleepy and Big Boi tackle with ease. The fun don't stop as guest appearances from Killer Mike, Cee-Lo Green, Kay-I, Scotty ATL, and Big Rube all help to add to the vibe "The Big Sleepover" provides.
When not spitting some of the dopest bars you've heard, Big Boi was busy flexing his entrepreneurial muscle as he is an investor in Lyft, partnered with Raekwon's Hashstoria brand, raising Pitbulls at Pitfall Kennels, among many other ventures. "The Big Sleepover" comes fresh off the heels of Outkast celebrating of the 21st anniversary of "Stankonia" (October 31), the 23rd anniversary of "Aquemini" (September 29), and the 25th anniversary of "ATLiens" (August 27). Here's to another classic from the Dungeon Family OGs.
