Ahead of “The 11th Hour” IMVNI Returns with a Potent Slow Groove - “HELLO”

Not too long ago we sat down with singer/songwriter/creative, IMVNI  for an exclusive Hype Off LIfe interview. There we learned about her journey, creative process and love for Southern Hip Hop. Today, IMVNI (formerly known as IMANI) returns with “HELLO”, a brand new single and accompanying video that’s just as artistic as her last.

A vibey slow groove, “HELLO” finds IMVNI taking it back in the day Word Up! magazine posters and handwritten love letters ruled the world. The vibes starts off with IMVNI crushing hard on her love interest, before heading out to a chill house party, where he just so happens to be too. The two hit it off from there, making for a happy ending.

“HELLO” was produced by lennoxthegr8, who also just so happens to play IMVNI’s crush in the video. The two already have more than a dozen hits in the vault, so stay tuned for that, as well as IMVNI’s upcoming album, “The 11th Hour”.

The EP, which will also feature “HELLO” is about the passing down of knowledge and history from grandmother to granddaughter, and promises to bring back the art of the interlude, as listeners get a glimpse of convos between IMVNI’s grandmother “Grammy” and herself.

To top off the excitement, “The 11th Hour” recently received funding from the New York Foundation of the Arts Women's Fund. So, it’s gotta be a banger!
