DJ Drewski & AceMula Drop New Jersey Drill Single "Keep It Moving"
DJ Drewski and AceMula's "Keep It Moving" featuring Law and Cruch Calhoun is out now
New Jersey native and Hot 97's very own DJ Drewski is known to be a noble of the DJ generation. He is a multi-skilled hip-hop expert and reality TV star who has escalated his way into the music industry. Drewski perfected his craft by producing for the Cipher Sound Show, becoming the official producer of the Angie Martinez Show, and producing for Hot 97 for over TEN years. He has also been associated with many media outlets such as BET, VH1, and MTV.
New Jersey-born AceMula, was introduced to music production at age 12. With over 80 million plays solely on YouTube and Soundcloud, AceMula took matters into his own hands by creating a musical concept called "Jersey Club Drill." AceMula embraced this phenomenon through his album Jack N Drill, which combines Jersey Club music (a fast-paced- upbeat tempo that gets you in the groove to move) and Drill (blunt, upfront, and aggressive) music. How tempting?
One of New Jersey's hottest MC's, Cruch Calhoun also got into music at the age of 12. Cruch started writing his own lyrics at age 12 but released his first ever mixtape The Other Side, in 2015. Bringing forth production and productivity, this rapper definitely eats through his lyrics. He's a rapper that tells stories of loss, fatherhood, street life, etc. However, his delivery can range from poetic to hardcore. He has multiple collaborations with another well-known rapper Dave East. He conducted open performances for East's worldwide "Survival" tour in 2019 and "East's Karma 3" tour in 2021.
New York's very own "(L)adies (A)lways (W)in" or Law was also engulfed in music at a very young age. Her deep passion for music inspired her to pursue her music career expertly with a record label called "Sloppy Vinyl." Law then released her first ever album, Vent, which has over 1 MILLION plays since March 8th! This Pop/R&B singer not only makes a mark with her name but with her daring style, hypnotic sound, capturing music visuals, and empowering stance. Law rose to fame through her "Over It" song and Tik-Tok series "Catch A Cheater," where she helps her "besties," aka adherents, see if their partners are being unfaithful.
When you take 3 artists/creators who diversify their brand, offer versatility with sound, set a foundation for themselves, have loved music since adolescence, and are from the East Coast, you know you are up for something..... Crafty. Watch out because these artists have something to prove!
Stay tuned, or should I say keep it moving?
