Clintn Lord Releases Rock/Hip Hop Mash-Up Video for “Set Big”

Clintn Lord’s “Set Big” visual on captures a momentous celebration for the underground. Clintn and his crew of freethinkers with dyed hair, tattoos and grills filmed the video in Brooklyn’s Farragut Projects. The East New York native dubs the video, “a rock, Hip Hop mash-up that Aerosmith and RUN DMC would have been proud of.”

Produced by Rami Afuni, “Set Big” “is about all of the underground people in New York getting the recognition for their influence for our subculture worldwide,” he says. “There was a time when people felt afraid to be like this because they would not be accepted and now it’s common knowledge that some of our biggest influencers are like this.”

Clintn Lord designed the self-portrait, 3D anime single cover art. “I really wanted to get more in tune with the art side of music,” he says. “A lot of legendary albums had the dopest covers. The Led Zeppelin covers made you say, ‘This shit is fire’ based on the cover. So, I went with the new age hip hop and anime combination. This is a self-portrait. The character has on the same bullet proof vest that I’m wearing in the video.”

Clintn Lord has also recorded with his brother SAINt JHN, a fellow model, songwriter and Hip Hop artist who has written for Rihanna, Beyonce and Usher. Their song “Ay Carumba” has received more than 100,000 streams on YouTube.

As a model, Clintn Lord was a part of Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 show that was featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. He’s been on Vogue Paris and also in Vogue for NYFW September 2017 for his VFiles runway walkthrough. In 2016, he performed at the Hard festival in Los Angeles on a bill that also included DJ Khaled, Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert. That same year he debuted his first album, 'Beautiful Demon,' and the follow up, 'Savage America,' dropped in 2017. He’s released a number of stunning music videos for “Bicycle,” “Beast” and “Love You Right.”
