BG Fa$t Is Putting His Hometown Pomona On The Map!
Meet BG Fa$t! He is an upcoming artist who s ready to build his brand in entertainment, and working towards making a movie for his recently published novel “The Fast Life." One thing about BG Fa$t is he's here to set goals and achieve them. The goals he hopes to achieve within the next few years is to make a name for himself in the industry while giving back to his community. His musical inspiration comes from accomplishing his goals, proving haters wrong, and his general day-to-day life. He has a lot of new music on the way and you can get to know him below!
Where are you in your career now?
I am at the base of my career building the foundation to support all my goals. I have been building the right connections and staying busy enough that people are starting to notice my talents. Right now, I am working on accumulating enough of my own resources to finance and produce my own movie. Hopefully, I can get a deal soon where I can have a company finance the film.
Describe your image.
I’m someone who has dealt with a lot of negativity throughout life as far as lack of support from family and friends and in and out of jail and prison. But no matter what life threw at me ,I never gave up on myself and stayed true to my talents, and kept pushing even though all my homies used to tell me I’m saying too much in my raps (as far as details of my life) and my family telling me I’m not good enough or that I should just work a 9-5 and live in poverty. I have spent a lot more money than I have made off of music so I am literally investing in my career and I have no doubt that I will succeed.
What age and year were you really moved to be involved?
It wasn’t until 2017 at the age of 29 when I was fresh out of prison and didn’t have much going for myself in the streets was I finally able to focus on music. Once I figured out how to make money out of the studio that’s when I was able to start making connections and putting my skills to use.
How would you describe your style of talent?
I’m diverse when it comes to flow and to me that’s true talent when you can flip your flow and still sound genuine. My style is unique.
What are your short term goals?
I want to start shooting a movie this year.

The vividness, details, and authenticity behind it.

What are some of your favorite highlights/memories that you have from being in the industry?
My first time performing, the crowd really liked my song and I felt the energy.
What advice do you have to youth who want to pursue a career in music?
Start as young as you can because that's when you have the most support and can be credited just based on your talent.
