Vince Staples Launches “The Vince Staples Show" (Video)

Last week, Vince Staples announced the launch of his new episodic show, “The Vince Staples Show", which is already proving to be a hit with over half-a-million streams. The original project debuted on vincestaples.com and showcases Staples’ music and unfiltered personality in short videos set in some of the wild situations Staples finds himself in - like the 1st episode that finds Vince Staples in the wrong hood after an impromptu barbershop visit in Pasadena.

For the show, Staples joins forces with the self-taught filmmaker behind some of your favorite music videos, Calmatic. If the name sounds familiar, Calmatic has been behind the lens for a while now, directing videos for Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, Lizzo and Lil Nas X's chart-topping single, “Old Town Road".

Highly innovative, each episode of "The Vince Staples Show" revolves around a pivotal moment in which he will release a new single. Smart, awkward and authentically West Coast, each installment offers greater depth and a new perspective on the life and times of one of today’s most creative voices, Vince Staples.
