Coming out of The Wood (Inglewood, CA), Ty La’Tour is a singer/songwriter who began her career doing demo recording and writing songs.Citing Alicia Keys, Anthony Hamilton and Tink as inspirations, her music offers potent Pop and R&B vibes, plus dope pen work. After having worked in the background for a while, Ty La'Tour is ready to come from behind the scenes to show the world her talent. Today she drops off a brand new single from her 'Writer's Block' EP, "Spinning."

According to Ty, the track "talks about falling for a summer fling: someone you told yourself you was gonna hit and quit. But feelings start to get involved, now the mixed emotions between what your mind and your heart is telling you to do has you spinning going in circles trying to figure out if you gon' pursue or just leave that person alone."
