Ty Brasel Embraces His “Destiny” With New Mixtape
Memphis-based recording artist Ty Brasel has been through many trials in his life, but he has been on a path to redemption. Ty has been using his talents to bring people together, and help to change lives. He provides inspiration to those who have been in the worst of places, with the message that better is around the corner.
Coming from the intersection of East Memphis and Olive Branch, MS aka “Memphissippi”, Ty Brasel’s music is heavily inspired by southern hip hop, which has birthed many legendary artists. With a few projects to his name which include “Destined For Greatness” and “The Divine Storm”, he continues his mission to heal, and inspire the world with the “Destiny: Vol. 1” mixtape.
Consisting of 13 tracks, Ty Brasel brings a collection that tracks that will surely hit you in the right places, as he shares some of the episodes of his life. While he has dealt with some struggles, he has shown throughout the project that he is overcoming them, and having peace and hope are possible.
"As I become more aware of my own heart and mind, dealing with my issues, I turn that into lyrics. So many of the songs on this new project have come out of me facing my problems head on and reaching out when everything in me wants to turn away. We can overcome even the worst of adversities." shared Ty Brasel about the new mixtape.
“Destiny: Vol. 1” features production from Dirty Rice, JuiceBangers, and Joseph Prielozny, while Ty Brasel shares his stage with a few friends like Jenna Wright, Parris Chariz, Jay-Way, Plan G, Monty, and 1K Phew.
