Toosii Finds Love In "Met In LA" Visual

South Coast Music Group/Capitol Records star Toosii shared the video for “Met In LA,” a celebratory postscript to the enormous impact of his new project, Poetic Pain. The neon-tinged visual follows Toosii as he enjoys a weekend in L.A., taking in the city’s skyline before hopping on the jet back to NC. “Met In LA” offers a different angle on the charismatic rapper, with Toosii describing a breezy, whirlwind affair that showcases his amorous side.

Toosii’s frequent collaborator, Drew Carroll, directed “Met In LA,” capturing the artist and his friend cruising around in a Rolls-Royce living young and free. Shining in the glow of the city, Toosii is lighthearted—open to love and support from others. Poetic Pain displayed Toosii’s cathartic approach to rap, but here he’s sharing his success. It’s hard to find a shot in the video where the man’s infectious grin doesn’t flash across the screen.

Following the release of his “Love Cycle” video with Summer Walker, “Met in LA” furthers an undeniable hot streak for Toosii, which began with the February release Platinum Heart. That set has since amassed over 200 million global streams, hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart, and launched Toosii into the top 10 of Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25 chart. Poetic Pain built upon that success with ease, garnering over 90 million global streams since its late September release and debuting in the top 20 on the Billboard 200 chart.
