T-Pain Gets “On Top Of The Covers” On New Album

T-Pain has been holding it down since his debut, and is still a name you can trust. While some have doubted his abilities outside of autotune, he has made people eat their words with live performances, showing that he’s not a gimmick. Pain has been busy with Twitch, Podcasts, and even spices, but he comes through for music with a new project called, “On Top Of The Covers”.

Featuring 8 tracks, T-Pain presents a collection of songs he has covered in his own way. From Sam Cooke to Journey to Sam Smith, you can hear him flip these classics, but still paying respect to the originators. “On Top Of The Covers” follows up his 2019 album, “1UP”, and was inspired by his appearance and win on “The Masked Singer” from the same year. While Pain stands on his own here, NandoSTL, a signee of Nappy Boy Entertainment, is the only feature on the album. A salute to the hits of yesteryear, T-Pain shines once again on “On Top Of The Covers”.
