Where ya been and what’s good!

I’ve been blending between the physical world and the creative world. Often being lost in the creative world because it feels more better. Preparing mentally for new work and just enjoying success. Enjoying the fact that I was in Burger King tonight and was spotted and noticed (this isn’t the first time). But it’s amazing to see people that listen to my music and share space with them. I can get use to this. I woke up today and was like I wanna hit the studio. I like to just do out of the blue things and for them to turn out a success is a plus — you know? That’s how I am with life right now. Just challenging myself as much as I can and digesting as much as I can.

How does it feel to marinate in the recent success of ‘Boys Just Wanna Have Fun,’ multiple performances and interviews on interviews?

Surreal. It feels like a dream. I feel like a kid in the candy store. Hard work and prayer pays off. I just remembered saying I wanted to perform at pride and then boom I’m performing at two pride events. I can only thank God and my supporters. Thank you to everyone sharing my music. That warms my heart.

I know you’ve been banging Nicki Minaj’s new album, ‘Queen.’ What were your initial thoughts, fav tracks and ones that eventually grew on you?

Hell yeah! "Miami" is my favvvv. Of course "Barbie Dreams" (the ending she really goes OFF), ChunSwae, LLC, Niptuck and so on. — Each track does something different for me. So I can’t say anything growing on me. Just admiring the essence of RAP.

Aside from Nicki, who else have you been streaming?

I’ve been listening to my artist friends work. I’m gonna listen to Prom Knight's recent new EP 'Kiss' this week. And you know a little Sza, Lauryn Hill and etc. Depends on my mood ( hahah)

What’s the inspiration behind your new track, “Jimmie’s Resurrection” ?

It’s a teaser for a project I’m working on currently. The teaser will not be on the project. The project will have custom beats that I’m scouting and purchasing. I loved Kanye and Lil Pump's song so much that I came and murdered my own version of it. — It’s just to give the RAP game heads up that Jimmie has came back to play.Listeners from my mixtapes know all about him. He just escaped and there’s a project surrounding him and all his mayhem he’ll be causing. I’m excited. He's been hanging with his brothers Roman (Nicki) and Slim Shady (Eminem). They all were in boarding school together and someone wasn’t pay attention. Now he’s Out! (hahah). I must say we are in for a treat and people are enjoying this teaser. This project will be the hold over before I start recording the sophomore album.

Happy early birthday!! What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned this past year?

Thank you!!!!! Patience. Trusting the process. Trusting God. Being honest with self and others. God will guide you through it all. Love yourself deeply. Be gentle to self always.

We heard you have a new project in the works. What can you tell us about it?

I have two new projects. A mini project and album follow up. Expect both 2019. That’s all I can right now.

How else do you plan on killing it the last few months of 2018?

Just kill everything. Enjoy these holidays around people that love me. That’s important to me. Being around people that love me.Thank you so much for this interview! And blessings on everything!
