Ryrif Is Gonna "Run It Up" With His Debut Single
Rising artist Ryrif looks to take legendary steps, and cement his name as one of the future greats. Barely out of high school, he believes that in order to achieve greatness, he has to take some risks. Putting his best foot forward, he unleashes his debut single, "Run It Up"!
Released by Loud Music Group (f.k.a. Loud Records), Ryrif oozes confidence and possesses a certain flyness on his debut. With booming production holding it down, Ryrif comes out strong like a veteran artist as he speaks about being the big dog, getting to the bags, not seeing anyone worthy of becoming his competition, and lets the world know that he's here to stay!
The single was released on December 18, and has since been receiving a considerable amount of streams on all platforms, and even got the co-sign of legendary New York DJ Funkmaster Flex. With a track like "Run It Up", listeners will definitely be on the look out for more from Ryrif. Accompanying the single is a visualizer which was shot by Alex Rifkind, and directed by Kateel (you can find our interview with him here).
Born Ryan Rifkind, Ryrif is the son of legendary Record Label Exec. Steve Rifkind, who has been responsible for breaking artists like Wu Tang Clan, Three 6 Mafia, Mobb Deep, and Big Pun. Ryrif has always possessed a love for music thanks to his musical family, and had ambitions of having his own career in music. Before pursuing all that however, he had to go to school.
While attending California's famed Sierra Canyon High, he joined the Basketball team, and was teammates with Zaire Wade, son of Dwyane Wade, and Bronny James, son of LeBron James. When he wasn't shooting hoops and winning games, he was working on his music. With 2020 seeing him finally make his debut, we await his next move.
