Quanstar: "Black Money"

Coming off the 7th Quanstar and LexZyne Productions project, 'Rebuilding Greenwood,' "Black Money" poses potent questions and insightful observations in regard to Black ownership and the deterioration of Black financial freedom.According to Quanstar: "Black money was the inspiration for this entire album. I was driving Uber and just dropped a rider off in the Atlanta area known as Kirkwood. It’s a wonderful part of Atlanta full coffee shops, eateries, and rebuilt homes; however, it used to all Black. It was old and rundown, but it was still Black. How valuable would it have been for Black folks to hold on to our land, and force gentrification to include us? That’s when the seeds of this song started growing." Definitely check that out above and stream 'Rebuilding Greenwood' below for Quanstar's "tribute to Black excellence, struggle, and empowerment."
