The Life Of Nipsey Hussle To Be Featured In New Lebron James-Backed Documentary!

In 2019, the world lost west coast rapper Nipsey Hussle. Since then, his name has been a part of many conversations, and his music continues to touch friends, family, and listeners old and new. Recently, it was announced that his life would be brought to the big screen through the help of a new partnership in an upcoming untitled documentary.

Spearheaded by a partnership between Lebron James and Maverick Carter's SpringHill and the late Nipsey Hussle's Marathon Films, the upcoming documentary will focus on the life of Nipsey from his upbringing in Crenshaw, to life as a musician and activist before his passing in never-before-seen footage, and interviews with some of his many friends, family members, and peers in music. The documentary will be featured through a series of episodes which will each focus on a specific aspect of Nipsey. Emmy-nominated director One9 is behind the camera for the new documentary, GRAMMY-winning producer Larrance “Rance” Dopson, longtime collaborator with Nipsey provided the music, and the doc is executive produced by SpringHill and Marathon Films along with Skylar Andrews and Naomi Wright.

Fans of the late Nipsey Hussle can get ready to watch the new documentary as it will premiere very soon worldwide. The marathon continues!
