Meet Multi-Talented Artist Michael Fang

With inspiration from the Motherland, theatre, and America’s southern region, Michael Fang is on board to become the next breakout star. Born in Houston, Texas to Nigerian Immigrants, he discovered his love for the Arts at an early age. While he started his education in private school, he found himself facing difficulties in adapting to their system in regards to learning and keeping out of trouble.

It wasn’t until his transition into the public school system where his love for the Arts further developed, and his overall experience in school got better. With exposure to the theatrical arts and the Hip Hop culture, Michael found himself performing at his high school, including at one of the school’s Pep Rallies where he assisted with organizing the entertainment.

During Michael’s high school years, he befriended Chigo Ace, who was forming a collective of musicians, actors, singers, and other creatives at the time. With the collective becoming official, they got into rapping and started working on their craft in their makeshift Studio.

It wasn’t until his tenure at Texas Tech University where studies in his Advertising major aided in his audio engineering skills, and led him into meeting new people. He went on to join a group named Darcwav with Chigo Ace, Li Blanc, and Saint and started developing as an artist.

From there, his music found its way to getting played on local Hip Hop stations, him receiving performing gigs at College parties, and scoring a modeling contract with the Robert Spence Agency. He graduated from Texas Tech in 2017 a well-rounded man, with a lot more to learn and do.

With over 7 years in as a recording artist and performer, Michael Fang looks to showcase to the world his many talents. Having signed to Naturally Fit Agency, he has developed as an actor over the years.

As a recording artist, he released the single “DMS”, and his debut EP, “you’re a sick nasty person” in 2019 which also boasts his producing skills. He looks to release more music in 2020, and he invites you to follow his journey on social media at @MichaelFvng.
