I was fucking around with a beat at my buddies crib, plugged my phone into his little computer speakers with a mini-sub and just created a beat. I forgot about it then came back to it and caught a vibe and the two verses came to me. Hit the lab to record it, this song is about staying on your grind on your way to your destination despite how long/bumpy the road may be. It may take longer than expected but it's all part of the journey. It may take a bit to reach your goals and fulfill your dreams but that's better than looking back on life years down the road saying "I wonder what life would be like if I did this." Take a chance, chase your dreams because a long journey is better than "I'll never know...."
