Maddi Madd Doubles Up On “Success” For Upcoming Album
Multi-platinum Rapper/Label Executive Maddi Madd knows about making things happen, and keeping it going for a long time. With over 20 years in the game, he has experienced lots of ups and downs in his career. Whether he’s guiding the careers of upcoming artists or adding his touch to great music, it’s all about getting to the top for him. He makes it clear as he embarks on the release of his upcoming album, “Success 2”.
The sequel to his 2017 project that received rave reviews, Maddi Madd looks to further capitalize with this series, and make his brand grow even bigger. While “Success” featured the hitsingles“Elephant”and“WATUGONDOWITIT”,Maddi guarantees that “Success2” has plenty more hits, and will be a welcomed addition to your collection.

Born Marlon Grimes in Akron, Ohio, Maddi Madd’s career started out in 1998 after being discovered by Ivan Jones of Grown Man Records. From there, he was recruited to write for the soundtrack for the controversial 1998 Television Documentary, “Pimps Up Ho’s Down”. In 1999 he released his debut EP titled “A Million Wayz” which went on to sell over 100,000 copies.
He has found platinum success through his contribution to Flo-Rida’s “Whistle” and “Wild Ones” singles, and through his label Blimpcity Records, has found success in new acts QSoFresh and King Fou who have singles with Lil Keed and Boosie Badazz respectively. As “TheMidwestJuggernaut”, Maddi has worked with the likes of Bizzy Bone, Rah Digga, Jodeci, DJ Quik, Jamie Foxx, and Ginuwine who he released the 2009 single, “Closer” with.
