How did you get your alias, “Lummy Boy Boog”?

A nickname of mine growing up was “L Boog” so when we started the Lummy Boyz, I just put that at the beginning

How does it feel to be putting on for your city, Lumberton, NJ?

It feels great, it's part of what motivates me

Which upcoming artists would you like to collab with the most?

A couple off the top I could think of are Calboy and GMGB Daidough

What sparked your decision to start taking music seriously last year?

I started taking it seriously because of the feedback that I was getting from my music at the time. I knew I had what I takes to succeed.

Flashback 5 years ago to 2015. What albums stayed in your rotation?

2015 Drake was having a crazy year so I was mostly listening to "If You’re Reading This Its Too Late", or "What A Time To Be Alive"

Are there any veteran rappers you’d like to work with in the future?

I definitely want to work with Lil Uzi, I think we would create something different

So, you just dropped your second EP, “Big Lummy”. What is the main concept of this project?

The main concept of this project is really just establishing my sound. I wanted to show my growth as an artist.

What changes/growth have you noticed between “Big Lummy” and your previous project, “Lummy Boy Takeover“?

I think in the first project I was trying to find my sound & prove that i belong and I feel like I accomplished that, so with "Big Lummy" I just wanted to build off that and make a name for myself.

Which project stretched you the most as a creative?

The first project definitely stretched me the most creatively because of what I was going through in my life at the time, so I just put everything I felt into the music.

Speaking of Lummy Boyz, how did you go about putting together your team?

In my case it came easy because we all grew up together and we’re all from the same town so when it was time to push towards a common goal it just came natural for us.

A lot of people trying to go at it alone, only to end up burned out an not hitting their goals. When did you know you needed a team?

I knew I needed a team when I realized that yeah its nothing wrong with doing it alone, but I’d rather have a strong team behind me

One of your goals is to make it to the top of the game. How do you plan on making a name for yourself and gaining the respect of the music industry?

I know if I can just stay consistent and keep producing content I can wake a lot of people up.

Where do you see yourself and your career around this time next year?

Next year around this time I want my name established in the music industry.

Anything else we should know before you go?
