Lilbootycall on Staying Drug-Free, Song with Juicy J & Advocating for Bullied Youth

Recently, we caught up with rising San Antonio artist, Lilbootycall. In case you haven’t heard, Lilbootycall (LBC) is a 22-year-old hailing from San Antonio, Texas, who is leading the wave of a fresh, uplifting genre in Hip Hop. Representing under-represented and bullied youth in our society. Lilbootycall may have one of the most outlandish names in the game. But, its origins come from a real and possibly relatable place. The young artist felt like both his friends and women alike only reached out to him when their original plans fell through - leaving him to feel like a last-minute “booty call”.

Aside from making relatable music, LBC has a gift of being himself in a world that likes to place people into little boxes of mediocrity. During our interview, he hit on a couple of points, ranging from coming of age in Texas and feeling outcasted to working with Juicy J and dealing with people from his past, with love. Peep the exclusive interview above and Lilbootycall’s debut mixtape, ‘Jesus Said Run It Back’ below for the full LBC experience.
