Lil Durk Soundtracks The Streets on 'Just Cause Y'all Waited 2'
Lil Durk just dropped off the sequel to 2018's 'Just Cause Y'all Waited', and we must say it was well worth the wait. Picking up with the original left off, 'Just Cause Y'all Waited 2' comes as Lil Durk's first project to be released since 'Love Songs 4 The Streets 2'. The 15-track release offers Lil Durk's thoughtful storytelling, along with features from Gunna, Lil Baby, Polo G and fellow Chicago native, G Herbo. It also includes previously released singles like "Viral Moment" and "3 Headed Goat", which is currently going up on streaming.
With such a solid project on his hands, Lil Durk shows and proves why he has the respect of the streets. In addition to putting out highly resonate music, he recently hosted a meal drive to feed the frontline workers at Chicago's Rush Hospital, gave back to his adopted hometown of Atlanta, donating masks and meals to health workers and at-risk communities, and hit the Hot 100 with Lil Uzi Vert for "No Auto". And let's not forget Lil Durk's starring role in the nationally-televised commercial for Nike's Air Jordan, advertising the Lyrical Lemonade x Jordan Aerospace 720.
