How did you get your start as an artist?
I started writing poetry as a kid and was inspired by Tupac who faced similar life problems and motivated me to speak about my issues also.
Your music is thoughtful and sophisticated yet still stays true to the streets, quite unlike anything else out today. Where do you draw the inspiration for your tracks?
I mostly use my real life and experience to make my music because I want to touch hearts not just attract the mind.
Growing up, which 3 music videos changed your outlook on life the most?
Tupac Dear Mama, Tupac Brenda’s Got a Baby and Eminem Mocking Bird
In the visual for “Juice” you play the role of a nerd that gets super on by getting hold of the juice. Are you a reader? If so, what are your favorite books?
I’m not really into reading that much but I am into learning. The nerd look came from me not being the dude who was fresh and had all the girls. 48 Laws of Power is a great read tho.
How has social media played a role in your success?
Social media is a very important part of today’s society and I have a great social media presence it really helped me a lot but I don’t use it as much as everybody else I like the old way of actually getting out in the streets.
Every artist has a tribe of fans they lead and inspire to be their best selves. Who is in your tribe and where are you leading them?
My fans are family and I want to lead them to changing life’s of others and not just themselves.
What’s next for Lil Donald ?
The album 'No Love Lost' on the way and a whole lot of heart felt and inspiring music.
