Emmy-Award winning Writer, Producer, Actor, and Creator Lena Waithe is making big moves. A lover of music and storytelling, she believes they are a perfect match. With that in mind, she recently secured a joint venture partnership with Def Jam Records to launch Hillman Grad Records. With the focus on the development of the next generation of underrepresented artists, music execs Tebs Maqubela and Albert Cooke were recruited to sign and develop new talent.
