Thanks for coming thru! How has the year been treating you?

Thank you for having me! This year has been amazing for me. It has allowed me to reconnect with myself and my spirit. I’ve been able to take the back seat and really reevaluate and see all the areas in my life that need improvement and work on them diligently until they are out of my system.

How did you get your start in music?

I got my start in music around the age of 13 when I finally decided to stop being afraid of my own power and grace the stage of my middle school. It was a talent show that my friends encouraged me to go to and I was reluctant at first, but I was able to persevere, perform, and get a standing ovation from the crowd which I fell in love with. After that moment I knew this was my purpose, to positively influence the lives of many and lead them back to themselves.

Growing up in Brooklyn must have been a great experience. How has being raised in such an influential place contributed to your musicality?

Being raised in Brooklyn has allowed me to see what it really takes to be an artist and how much competition is really out there. Everybody that wants to be an artist and is located in Brooklyn must have the highest level of focus and finesse because the moment you falter there is someone else readier and younger right behind you.

Your music stems from personal experience and spiritual insight. When did you start your spiritual journey?

I started my spiritual journey around the same time I began my music, age 13, possibly even younger than that.

I love being an artist because it allows me to express myself with no filters

How have you grown in your spirituality over the years?

At the time I wasn’t serious about my spirit and lost focus which impacted me severely because I couldn’t make the same music I was making when I was on the path. It wasn’t until March of 2020 when I finally decided to stop playing with myself and seriously dedicate time to my spirit, myself, and my music.

There has been an uptick in people embracing their spirituality lately, which is great. What advice do you have for those starting their journey?

I would definitely say pay attention to your feelings, your gut, that’s where your spirit lives. It’s not something to do, it’s something to be. Live in the moment so that you can obtain all possible lessons that are being thrown your way, and don’t judge people that may or may not be on the path as well, because you were there at one point seeking the same wisdom they were, so be patient with yourself and others. It is not a race, it’s a marathon.

Why do you feel it’s important for others to tap into their spiritual side?

It is important for others to embrace their spirit because that is how you find your life’s purpose. It is how you obtain true happiness, true peace, true fulfillment. Everything else the world has to offer, you can’t take with you on the other side. I’m not saying you can’t enjoy those things and to go live a lifestyle of solitude in the mountains, but those things become that much more enjoyable when you are able to do them with your spirit and realize these are all just worldly pleasures to make this human experience you are having at this point in time that much more enjoyable. At the end of the day what really matters is have you found your purpose, and what have you done to make a difference on the planet and grow your consciousness?

Your music is such a vibe. What are some of your favorite ways to vibe out?

Honestly the way I like to vibe out is just blasting the music around the house and singing or harmonizing with the artist and my favorite parts of their songs. It helps me to connect with whatever emotions/energy they invested into the track when they made them and it just takes me to a really peaceful place I can explore musically.

I would definitely say pay attention to your feelings, your gut, that’s where your spirit lives

In addition to being influenced by the greats, you’ve also opened for many greats, including Omarion, Swizz Beatz, and more. What do you love most about performing and being an artist?

I love seeing people’s reactions while I’m on stage and how I am currently affecting them. I’ve had moments where people would come up to me crying telling me how much my voice and songs moved/inspired them and that brings me the utmost joy, knowing I’m impacting people and inspiring them to tap into their emotions and feel free to express themselves without fear of judgment from others around them.

I love being an artist because it allows me to express myself with no filters and show people that it’s okay to emote and be yourself, it’s okay to feel again.

If you could go back in time and give your younger self a message, what would it be?

Embrace your spirit earlier.

Anything else we should know?

Some activities I like to do are boxing, skateboarding, video games, and basketball. I also like watching anime, and my favorite color is blue.
