Jidenna Crafts a Pathway to The Motherland on '85 to Africa' (Album)

Technology and globalization have blurred the lines of culture and communication to the point it's hard to put anything in a box. When it comes to music, the lines between genres have become even hazier. Thanks to streaming and the internet making it possible for us to indulge and be influenced by different cultures with their own distinct sounds, we're no longer confined to just what's around us. Jidenna gets this and is back with a forward-thinking new project, '85 to Africa'.

Packing an eclectic blend of sounds ranging from Afrobeats, Spoken Word, Hip Hop and everything in between, the sophomore album effectively builds a bridge for us to travel to the Motherland whenever we feel. Guest spots from Seun Kuti, GoldLink, St. Beauty, Mr Eazi and Mereba add to 85 to Africa's upbeat vibe, making it something to play year-round - for years to come. Tune in below. Then tune in some more for the freshly released "Worth The Weight" visual 🔥
