JID Drops Thought-Provoking "Money" Video
It has been a couple weeks since JID released his new album, “The Forever Story”. It has since earned positive reviews, heavy rotation on all your favorite platforms and outlets, and it has been included in a few “Album of the year” conversations. JID continues the flow of original content for the album with the video for the track, “Money”.
Directed by Chad Tennies and Mac Grant, JID reflects on coming up poor, with money being that thing he needed to get out of the struggle. The video provided highlights two brother who are experiencing their share of struggle. Despite it all, they’ve managed to have a few adventures, and when they found money, they enjoyed a few simple pleasures before reality hits hard in the end.
