Dough the Freshkid Trades Verses with Respected South LA Rappers On “Where Yo Grandma Stay?”
Still riding high off the success of previous projects like, “Tal’s Cafe” and “Rich In City”, Dough The Freshkid is back with another banger. “Where Yo Grandma Stay?” which was shot in South LA, follows the the LA native through the neighborhood while DTFK, RichJimmyJr, Tylo, J.Outlaw, Wee Dogg, and TD trade vivid verses about their upbringing, life in LA, and just how they got to be who they are today.
In typical Dough the Freshkid style, the Toney Franco-directed visual plays like a movie, complete with drone footage and crisp videography, while the verse complement its rawness. “Where Yo Grandma Stay” was produced by Lil Bonez and comes ahead of Dough the Freshkid’s upcoming album, “It’s Not Hate It’s Envy” that’ll be released this fall.
In the meantime, while you waiting on another DTFK masterpiece, watch “Where Yo Grandma Stay?” for some of that real.
