Deige Comes Through With A Swagger Like "Pootie Tang"

New Jersey based Deige is an artist you can't box in. From his flows, to his lyrics, to his production choices, to his influences, he's just in his own world. Having put in some major work all of 2020, he is well on his way to being spotted by some of the major players in music. While he does put in the work, he maintains a certain swagger that earns him a steady following. That swagger is reminiscent of a movie character he name drops on the track, "Pootie Tang".

Featuring his own production and released through Everything Neon, Deige talks about the ladies who are checking for him, drops lyrics about being one of the best artists out, and being verified everywhere even without a blue check to show. Over some futuristic Trap sounds, Deige gave us a song that will surely wake the speakers up.

For those unfamiliar, Pootie Tang was a belt wielding character who did whatever he wanted, and was loved by everyone, even his enemies loved him. The character was featured in the 2001 comedy of the same name, which went on to have a cult following. With what Deige brings to the musical table, he may just earn a following like that sooner than you think. With a few singles and two EPs out this year, he looks forward to 2021 bringing him some well deserved success, and all that comes with it. Be on the look out!
