Kaash Paige, Bobby Sessions, & Saint Bodhi Enlisted For Def Jam X Marvel Comics Series
Comic books have always been a staple for many kids growing. Getting to see your favorite characters go through various adventures issue after after is a pastime that many cherish well into adulthood. With many becoming adapted into movies, generations of kids are formally introduced into a world that find comic books growing in value exponentially.
In recent years, Hip Hop found a place in the comic book world with covers of popular comics paying homage to classic Hip Hop albums. Recently, Marvel Comics announced a collaboration with the iconic Def Jam Records for a short story special in the "Black Panther" comic series.
Enlisting the talented Kaash Paige, Bobby Sessions, and Saint Bodhi, the Def Jam artists will appear in a short story series covering the final 3 issues of the "Intergalatic Empire Saga" of "Black Panther" (#23, #24, and #25). Each artist will contribute a character-driven story with Saint Bodhi gives her take on the character Storm, Bobby Sessions will tell a story on Black Panther, while Kaash Paige will present a tale on the Wakandan Princess Shuri.
Each artist profile will be highlighted in their respective issues, and the collaboration looks to promote social, economic, and educational equality. Fans of Saint Bodhi can read her issue everywhere on February 24, while Bobby Sessions' issue will be available on March 24, and Kaash Paige's issues that concludes the series will be available on April 24.
