PREMIERE: Dayne Carter - 'Roadtrip' (Album)

 As promised, previously featured Dayne Carter has released his anticipated debut album, 'Roadtrip.' Rather than waiting for cosigns from mainstream artists and major labels, Dayne drops this project independently with the help of his hometown collective.According to Dayne, "I would record songs and just hold onto them in hopes of pitching them to a major label. I got too caught up in trying to make industry connections when the team I was looking for were the homies I grew up with."'Roadtrip' figuratively and literally tells Dayne's journey from growing up in the 908 to moving to NYC. Sometimes, we get too comfortable in our everyday settings and unconsciously fall into a bubble forgetting there's a larger world. Roadtrip breaks those comfort zones and explores themes such as having to distance yourself in order to grow, fighting paranoia to find self-reassurance and having faith in the unknown.
