Bosses Connect on "Ape Mode" by Da Great Ape & T.I. (Video)

When it comes to music videos these days, you can no longer get away with subpar material, lacking substance and depth. Well, you can but I doubt you'd get to where you want to go because great music videos with high production value are making a comeback! (Thank God) Da Great Ape and T.I. make their statement with the cinematic release of "Ape Mode". Directed by TIP himself, "Ape Mode" follows the two throughout a heavy day of hustlin'. OG David Banner makes an appearance too.

According to Da Great Ape, "When I came up with the concept, I was feeling dominant and thinking how I would take over the rap game," Da Great Ape shared about the song. " I already had the verse and hook recorded. I was introduced to TIP by DJ MLK. One night we were in the studio vibing, playing records. He played a few of his and I played a few of mine. He fell in love with 'Ape Mode' and recorded a verse that night."
