Coast Contra Keeps It Fresh In "AF1" Video

West Coast collective Coast Contra stepped out in a big way with just a few releases. Comprised of Ras and Taj Austin (sons of West Coast legend Ras Kass and timeless singer/songwriter Teedra Moses), Rio Loz, and Eric Jamal, they're here to bring dope lyricism over top production. With a placement on the "Queen & Slim" soundtrack and their name bubbling ever since, they're on a mission to leave huge marks wherever they go in the world. With an album on the way, we get to check out the video for their new single, "AF1".

With Coast Contra handling direction and Justin Lin handling the filming, we get a nicely edited video. Over the soulful production, the group lets us know that they're focused like "A 9th grader with hoops dreams hitting the books" among other similes, and you have to agree 100%. We get a dope song that we can't stop playing, and the video pays homage to a Hip Hop classic, the Nike Air Force One as we see them in a couple different flavors. Before you watch this video though, put on your favorite pair of AF1, and get to stomping!
