Thanks for coming through! For those unfamiliar, give us a run-down of how you started your career.
Thank you for having me! I really appreciate it. I’ve been rapping since middle school but I recorded my first song in high school. I had a friend who was making music at that time and wanted me to hop on a song. It was random as hell 'cause I never told him I rap and I never recorded a song before, I would just write and rap over beats in my room. So, that started everything.
I took music more seriously after high school, 'cause by then I had a job and was able to afford studio time. Since then I have basically been building my brand . I dropped my first project "Pre-Rich" and started doing shows.
You called your first project, “Pre-Rich”. What does that title mean to you?
It means speaking abundance into your life and knowing you will receive it. This was back when pandemic started and I was going through a somewhat of a spiritual awakening. So the words I spoke over my life started to hold more weight. I believe in power of the tongue which is why I never call myself broke I say I’m pre-rich.
As an artist that’s into personal development, what’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Growing up, one thing that I learned from my parents was to be my own person and not be so quick to follow everything I see. that definitely plays a part in how I move now because I was able to build self awareness and discernment pretty early and I wasn’t so easily influenced. When it comes to my career, I try not to do things that have been done already. I think it’s important to have your own identity instead of trying to be something you’re not.
Speaking of advice, your music is a vibe, and hard-hitting with a message. How do you want listeners to feel after they’ve heard a Cashh Los track?
I want people to feel the highest level of self confidence they can feel and know that they control their reality. I feel like so many people nowadays don’t even know themselves and operate out of insecurity. Everybody is competing and hating on each other for no reason. And the negativity that people consume every day doesn’t help either. I just want my music to get people away from that energy. Like okay it’s carry yourself with value if you don’t who will?
Some say it’s the beats. While others say it’s the rhymes. But, what do you love most about Hip Hop?
I like how its constantly setting the tone when it comes to culture. Especially with so many different sounds and styles out there, it works out since people have a variety to choose from.

Your single “Up Again” speaks on the power of bouncing back from adversity. What’s the hardest obstacle you’ve faced during your career and how did you overcome it?
I would say constantly being overlooked or not having the support you thought you would have. When I started doing shows I was able to meet people who are on a similar path and going through the same thing and it made me feel less alone. I also had to change my thought process and get rid of any doubts I had towards myself. The more I did that the less I started to care about being slept on because I know my music will reach who it needs to regardless.
If you could give your past self a pep talk. What would you say?
Don’t let anybody or anything distract you. Stop thinking you have time and you’re more powerful than you think.
Mental and spiritual health play huge roles in your life. In what ways do you like to stay grounded?
Prayer. I also have a book that I write my prayers in. I also write my goals, dreams that I’ve had. That’s like therapy for me. I'm also more mindful of the content I consume so I take breaks from the media sometimes. I’m always reading. I’ve been collecting books for a while. I also have be to alone. I noticed I’m able to think more clear when I block everything and everyone out.
This year is pretty much a wrap. What excites you about 2023 the most?
I’m excited to see the blessings that are coming. I plan on completing every goal I have set for myself. I’m excited for the journey.
What lessons are you taking from 2022 into the next phase of your life?
Don’t ever get too comfortable or you will fall off. There’s always room to get better and improve.
Are you working on any new music we should keep a look out for?
Most definitely! I have more singles, visuals and collabs coming soon hopefully a new project as well.
Anything else we should know?
I plan on getting back into acting. I had some experience on the show 61st street which is on AMC+ I’m also into fashion as well and plan on pursuing a career in that lane.
