Bankroll Got It: The Producer Duo Changing The Hip Hop Game
Bankroll Got It are a record producer duo who are changing the game with their sound. Joel and Taylor Banks are the two brothers who formed Bankroll Got It together as a result of their passions and diverse musical backgrounds. They grew up in the Bay Area and have always been influenced by the heavy 808s that are prominent in the region.
Now, the group is responsible for some of the best hits in music right now, including having produced iconic songs such as, “Bitch From Da Souf” by Mulatto, and “Da Real HoodBabies” by Lil Gotit, just to name a few. Other artists on Bankroll Got It's roster include Kalan.FrFr, DaniLeigh, Drakeo the Ruler, and more.
Recently, they played a role in producing tracks for LA artist Drakeo the Ruler's latest album 'TRUTH HURTS' including tracks "So Icey," "Chrome Hearts," and "Tear The Club Up." It's no wonder that everyone wants to work with Bankroll Got It -- they've turning out nothing but bangers.
Now, the duo have a Los Angeles studio (that has a Miami-like nightlife vibe) where they produce and invite artists to come work with them. It makes it easiest for artists to pull up and ultimately vibe and create music that reflects the energy of the room.
When asked about some of their goals for the future as producers, Bankroll Got It responded:
"We’re really trying to build up our brand as one of the biggest producers in the industry. We want to be the next Mustard, Murda, Wheezy, etc."
