Your sound is very rich and encompassing. Who inspires your style of music?

Although my inspiration comes from God, a lot of artists like Micheal Jackson, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, Eminem etc. have really influenced my sound over the years.

Nigeria has been making a dent in the international music scene. Who are some of your favorite artists outside of your home country?

I do have a lot of favorites in the international scene, if I’m being very honest. From Travis Scott and Don Toliver, Drake, Central Cee.

If you could make some crossover music, which artists would you work with?

That’s a very tricky question cause I’ve always thought of making an album or a compilation of songs with all my favorite international artists featured on the project.

By the way, how did you get started in the craft?

I started writing music in primary school where I wrote my first song which was for my school crush, but unfortunately after being unable to share this short but beautiful song with her I went home in disappointment reflecting on the contents of my lyrics and how I was able to express my feelings for her through the song. Upon reflecting I discovered that I was able to tell stories, motivate people and also relay important messages to people through melodic harmonies and deep lyrics. That’s how the journey began.

What are your biggest goals in the music industry?

I have a lot of big goals that I’m hoping to achieve by God’s grace, and one of them would be performing on the world’s major stages like Rolling Loud, World Cup Finals, etc. And also like I said earlier, being able to collaborate with some of my favorite artists both in my hometown and internationally.

Who are some of your artists to collaborate with?

The Weekend and also the likes of Micheal Jackson, Eminem, Kanye West. It’s really a long list of people.

What’s next for you and your career?

I’ve got an EP on the way and I can’t wait to bless my fans with good vibes and timeless music. I’m super excited to see what the future holds.
