Canadian Rapper Jay Honest & Model Alaska Greyy Take A Trip To The Hospital That Changes Their Lives

Jay Honest, recently featured here on Hype Off Life, and his girlfriend, Alaska Greyy started dating a few months before the pandemic hit. Having spent the entire pandemic together what was to be expected but .... pregnancy! Jay, already having 2 kids of his own Jayden and Dream, was in no way shocked, but Alaska having previously thought to be infertile, was in tears the moment the doctor said “did you know you are pregnant?” 

Fast forward to September 16th, Alaska was complaining about pains in her stomach, being 8 months pregnant they took no chances and went straight to the hospital. Come to find out she has been in active labour for 2 days and needs to get ready to push!

Alaska, was trying to not use the epidural (a big needle used in the spine to stop the pain) , and waited until she was 9cm dilated til she decided she couldn’t take the pain any longer. After 20 minutes of pushing from start to finish, Roman Della Notte Whelan was born, 3:10am at The Ottawa General Hospital, 1 month premature, weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces.

Going thru a pregnancy during the COVID-19 outbreak changes many things for this amazing couple as their parents were not allowed to be there for support, no visitors and as Alaska mentioned to us, she had to wear a mask the entire time.
