Catch the latest installment in our interview series, this time with New York producer, audiophile and A&R at URBZ LYFE, Lord Byron B. During the interview, shot live in Leimert Park, Byron touched on working for Bad Boy during it’s ‘Last Train to Paris‘ days, the power of consistency and the difference between New Yorkers and Angelenos.

But one thing that struck a chord with me was Byron mentioning, “It’s dope to have confidence. But nobody likes a**holes.” Which is something I think a lot of people (outside and inside the game) have twisted. See, confidence is knowing you’re dope with the skills, actions and accolades to back it up. Cockiness, on the other hand is like buying 10,000 followers for $50, then acting like you’re poppin’ and demanding a cover story. Disrespectful. But enough of that tangent. Peep game on the interview above and remember where you heard the name first. 💯
