This is a big ‘feat for the Asians that are trying to break stereotypes and make it into mainstream. The last time an Asian rapper made it mainstream was back in 2005 when MC Jin signed with Ruff Ryders and released his album ‘The Rest is History.’ To my fellow Asians in the industry, do not be discouraged, anything is possible if we put our minds to it. We may be the underdogs right now, but soon we will rise.
