Queen Naija Celebrates Release of New EP at Grandmaster Recorders

As the year winds down and we enter cuffing season - a time when everybody’s suddenly boo’d up (Players & Hot Girls included), multi-platinum singer and one of R&B rarest jewels, Queen Naija hits us off with a new EP music to match the mood, “After The Butterflies”. Featuring 10 tracks of mellow grooves, introspection, and self-love affirmations, “After The Butterflies” speaks on love after the honeymoon is over. You know, after the butterflies have faded and reality and the complexities of love set in.

To celebrate it’s release, Queen Naija held an intimate release party hosted by Kendra G. at the iconic Grandmaster Recorders in Hollywood. And you already know Hype Off Life was in the building! The atmosphere was chill, crowd down to Earth, and the DJ even more lit than the open bar. Some celebrities came through too, like Baby Tate and Eric Bellinger, who is also featured on the EP. And of course, Queen Naija’s boo, Clarence.

All in all, “After The Butterflies” is a vibe you need to get into. So, catch the stream below and some exclusive photos from the release party, courtesy of @lowkeyinlosangeles
