PUMA & Rhuigi Pay Homage To Hip Hop Culture In Capsule Collection

 

Fashion & sportswear giant PUMA is turning up a few degrees this time around with the launch of a new collaboration. Tapping in with designer Rhuigi, they stepped out with their 3rd part of their capsule collection. ​​​​​​​​​
The line toasts to the commemoration of hip hop’s 50th anniversary, and gives us a look into the culture’s past in new york city, and uniting it with its present and future as a global entity. The line consists of the classic PUMA Suede BBOY sneaker, graphic tees, the T7 track top and track pants, and a bucket hat to compliment the classic “B-Boy” look. The colors featured pays homage to New York City, and PUMA’s home in Herzogenaurach in Germany.

New York’s W.A.F.F.L.E. dance crew of Taylah Gang, Sean Mcfly, and Shoemanstro were given the role to model the new line, and will actively be a part of the campaign’s various activities. The PUMA x Rhuigi capsule will launch on April 1st at Puma.com, the PUMA mobile app, the PUMA NYC flagship store, and select retailers worldwide. Prices range from $40-$185.
