Polyester the Saint is All Muscle ... No Gym On 'American Muscle 5.0' (Album Review)

Polyester the Saint just hit us off with American Muscle 5.0. Two words…NO FILLERS! You can press play and not have to skip over a single track. Sad to say we're living in a world where the artists actually putting together timeless music are overlooked. And again sad to say I’m living in a world where Pac and Montell Jordan aren’t making music anymore so I gots to tune in to anything that gives me similar vibes and Passport P is my guy.Production is always jiggy on The Saint’s projects so needless to say the beats will have you pop-locking outside your mf’n car…or in my case on the train. Bangers like Wazzup which features Jay Worthy of the super fly duo LNDN DRUGS, and Outtie 5000 who is assisted by none other than the Jheri Curl killer G Perico, give us that 90's G-funk feeling. (I swear I almost cried after a minute into Outtiee…Oh MANDELA). One of the dopest things about Poly is his ability to rap and also give us some smooth vocals on the hooks or bridges. You have to appreciate that.I’m not quite sure who is in charge of naming genres and their subdivisions in Hip-Hop, but from here on out Player-music or as the homie WestCoast Keish says “that G-shit” is in effect. I don’t care what coast you’re from. Cruising after the sun sets without 5.0 playing should be illegal. Too many quotables. Too many vibes to not think about the good ole days. You want good music? Holla at Passport P and don’t forget the Saint. IM OUTTA HERE.
