Jodeci Milhouse Gets Rid Of The Dead Weight On "Glad"

R&B

Based out of Arlington, Virginia, Singer/Songwriter Jodeci Milhouse looks to bring a different kind of energy to the R&B scene. Having released a few singles, two projects, and toured in 2019, she is building upon her brand, and you're gonna love her upon first listen. Recently, she released her new single titled, "Glad".

An independent release, Jodeci tackles the topic that many of us can relate to, and that's getting rid of the ex. On the track, she shares being there for that person, giving her all, and doing all that is needed for a healthy relationship, only for her partner to take her for granted and dissing her in the process. For many of us, relationships can be the greatest thing in the world, but when lies, deceit, ungratefulness, and betrayal come into play, there's no reconciliation there, and you just have to move on. Armed with a powerful voice, you can feel Jodeci's disappointment, and the relief of her dropping the dead weight.

Having made her professional debut at the age of 13, Jodeci Milhouse has been inspired by the likes of Rihanna, Tina Turner, and Beyonce. She has shared the stage with the likes of Trey Songz, Wale, N.E.R.D., and Tory Lanez, and is an award-winning singer, as she won 1st place at the Project Muse Music Conference in 2017. She looks to follow up with a new project this year, but in the meantime, check out "Glad" below, and share with a friend. Follow @HypeOffLife on Twitter and Instagram for more content.
