Hit-Boy & Dad Big Hit Reunite For “Surf Or Drown 2”

Hit-Boy & Big Hit

Superproducer Hit-Boy is back like he never left. This time around, he has even more for listeners to enjoy. While was busy securing platinum plaques and GRAMMY awards, he always kept family close to his heart. Just in time for Father’s Day, he releases “Surf Or Drown 2”.

“Surf Or Drown 2” is the sequel to Hit-Boy’s album that made its debut in March 2023. This around, he teams up with his father, Big Hit. Together trade bars and stories over Hit’s signature sounds, and celebrate the bond that not even prison bars could break. Big Hit became a free man recently after serving 9 years in prison, and is all about progress and family.

“Surf Or Drown 2” features 10 tracks, and 10 instrumentals for those who want even more from the project. Big Sean, Garren, and Dom Kennedy show up on the album, and the father/son duo made a follow up to “Grindin’ My Whole Life”, a collaboration that was featured on the 2014 “We The Plug” album from Hit-Boy’s HS87 compilation. It’s family time over here.

Check out the album.
